Just wanted to share a cute photo of the boys... :) There's a special bond between these brothers that is evident when you see them together. It's so sweet!

You Shall Live Again!

The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.  Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.  And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!  Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.  I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”
 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.  Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ”  So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’  Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.  Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.  I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

(Ezekiel 37:1-14)

This past year I went through a dry, dead season. Like those bones, I was dry and my hope was lost. But the Spirit of God began to breathe life into me once again. It was a process--bone upon bone, flesh upon bone, and now breath. My passion and hunger for Him has been restored. I have received a fresh annointing from His Spirit.

Hear the word of the Lord! If you are dead--your first love has waxed cold, your passion is gone, and your hope is lost, if you will hear the word of the Lord, you shall live again. Restoration begins with hearing the words of life from the One who is The Resurrection and The Life. Thus says the Lord God, "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live." He's calling out to the Lazarus's saying, "Come Forth!" You shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord!

Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy. But God has come to give you life that is abundant and full. I pray that even now your spirit would hear these words of life and that you would begin to fill a stirring in your bones. In going through that season of death, I can share that there is life after death. There is hope! God has a purpose and a destiny for you that brings joy and fulfillment. His gifts are without repentance. Even if you have given up on yourself, He has not given up on you!

If you are going through a desert, He gives streams of living water. You can have an oasis even in the middle of the desert. Begin to feed on His Words, for they are life and health. Cry out to God and He will answer!

God will rebuild the old ruins, and the desolate places in your life. He is a God of Restoration. Throughout the Old Testament, I see His mercy and faithfulness to Israel. When Israel would sin against God, He would judge their sins. But when they repented and turned back to Him, He was always faithful to restore them and cause them to be even greater than they were before.

I was once dead, but now I have life again! God will do the same for you if you allow Him to.

Developing a hunger for Him

"Revival as we know it 'now' is really the 'recycling' of saved people through the Church to keep them fired up. But the next wave of true revival will bring waves of unchurched people into the House of Bread--people who have never darkened the door of a church in their lives. When they hear that there really is bread in the house, they will stream through our doors after smelling the fragrance of hot bread from the ovens of Heaven! Often we are so full and satisfied with other things that we insist on 'getting by' with our crumbs of the past...One of the first steps to real revival is to recognize that you are in a state of decline."

If we are to develop a hunger for God, we must first become dissatisfied with where we are now. "Satan's ploy has been to keep us so full of junk that we're not hungry for Him, and it has worked magnificently for centuries." (God Chasers) It's hard to get hungry when you're filled up on junk food. Junk food will fill you up, take away your desire for real food, and cause you to become unhealthy. I've found this to be the case in my own life--physically and spiritually. When you don't feed on God's word and spend time in prayer but instead eat the junk of the world (television,internet,secular books etc...)you become malnourished and your spirit man is weakened. Sometimes we as Christians are guilty of suppressing our spiritual appetite in favor of feeding the soul. As the soul becomes stronger, it is hard to hear the cries of our spirit man for the true Bread of Life.

I was living on junk food for the past year. My spirit man was weak. God had to intervene. I had to choose to put away the junk food and begin feeding on His Word. I started listening to praise and worship CDs. I've begun praying in the Spirit again. This has triggered a renewed hunger for Him. My spirit man is growing stronger, and my faith has increased. I don't want to go back to the junk food. I now have an appetite for the Bread of Life. I thirst for the Living Water. My desires have changed. Now when I go to church, I go with an expectancy. I want to meet with God. I want to have an encounter with Him. He is my Life Source. I've begun to chase after Him again in the hopes that I might catch Him. He has captured my heart. I will never be the same.

Taste and see that the Lord is good! Once you have eaten the Bread of Life, nothing else compares. Get hungry for God! He will not disappoint. Those that hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled!

Restoring the ark of God

I've got a renewed passion for God's presence. I am hungry for the manifest presence of God. I've recently started reading God Chasers by Tommy Tenney again. It's one of my favorite books. I desire to see God's glory manifested in His house. I realize this can only come through pursuing His presence, and dying to self. I am tired of church as "usual". I desire to have an encounter with Him. I want fire from heaven to fall upon me and consume me even as it did on the day of Pentecost. That fire changed Peter from one who denied Christ to one who proclaimed the power of the Cross with boldness. The early church had something that we do not. They were walking in a fullness of power. They were walking in the annointing and seeing the manifest presence of God change people's lives. Deaf ears were opened, and blind eyes could see once again. The supernatural and miraculous were commonplace. The Philistine spirit of this age has stolen the ark of God from the temple of God. I am not only referring to the church, but to us as temples of the Holy Ghost. But God is calling the Davids--the worshippers, and intercessors to rise up and bring the ark of God back to it's rightful place. It will take time on our knees. It will take time of repentance and turning back to our first love. But the ark of God will return and we will see the glory of God in His house once again.

The Latter will be Greater

Haggai 2:6-7,9a For thus says the Lord of Hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land: and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory', says the Lord of Hosts...'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former', says the Lord of hosts...

Last night I had a dream that the earth was shaking as I lay on my bed. It was so vivid that I thought it was real. I believe that there is a shaking in the heavens taking place. Nations (principalities)are being shaken. With all the chaos that is happening around the world, many are considering their own spiritual condition. The harvest right now is ripe with those that are looking for something to put their faith in. God is restoring His church. He is purifying His Bride. He is calling all men to repentance. As we fall on our knees and seek His face, we will see a wide-spread revival in these last days. God is going to fill His house with glory once again. And the latter will be greater than the former!

My blogging adventure...

Well I am attempting to recreate my blog as I didn't keep it up to date. I decided to jump on the blogger bandwagon and create a daily journal for all the world to read. The internet is so liberating that way! LOL! I think people are more open on the internet than they are face to face. Why is that? I think it's because you feel safer when you are hiding behind a computer. Well it is way past my bedtime and I need to hit the sack (as we country folk say). I will share more tomorrow...
